In 2007 I spent quite a bit of time living in the beautiful island country of the Dominican Republic as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I lived in a small town outside of Santiago working in the schools, eating a lot of rice and beans, drinking coffee, and dancing the Bachatta. The following are a few of my favorites during my life there.
My favorite part of photographing people and events is that I can capture a moment. Just one moment. And in that moment every emotion is alive. Every expression is captured. And that moment, that one piece of time, it is captured forever. It becomes a memory you can relive. This is my memory spot. Welcome.
